Research and design for the Microsoft HR portal.
Performed usability research and design for the HR department portal, HRWeb. The objective was to steamline employee access to important information including benefits, family-related information, and career performance details. The project also aimed to update the portal to align with recent Metro UI system and brand. In this project I collaborated in reviewing original data and user satisfaction feedback. I then participated in a top task exercise and a card sort to inform the architecture. I developed wires and flows and an interactive prototype. I also participated in creating the scenarios and scripts for a qualitative research study, recruited participants, moderated the tests, and analyzed and reported the results. I then provided comps for a responsive design as well as redline specs for dev implementation.
