Project role: UX/UI Designer
Primary tools: XD/Figma/Photoshop
Overview: The AT&T Business Summit is a 2 day conference that showcases their latest technology, covering everything from infrastructure to innovation with attendees from across the globe. The first Summit was in 2017 and has continued annually. I served as the designer for the original website and updated the site along with producing visual content for 4 years. The design of the Summit’s website adhered to the event’s style guide and branding. The goal was to create an easy and intuitive user experience that served as the primary resource for all event related news, information and call to actions from invite through post-event.
Process: I met with the larger team, and then reviewed event planning information, and the primary personas. Together with stakeholders from a cross-functional perspective, I gathered the information necessary for an initial flow and wires. Once we settled on the basic structure and initial content, I created a prototype. On approval, final content was provided and from this, I created high fidelity comps for stakeholder review. I iterated on these and arrived at the final look and feel. I then handed off redlines to development and created final image assets for production.
Results: The website successfully enabled users to register for the event and locate event information. As the portal for the event, this site drew in and guided 2,500 attendees. With the first event alone, companies that attended invested more than $700 million in AT&T technologies and services immediately afterwards, and the Summit continues to be a major win for AT&T annually.
